Imagine a school where all students and staff are eager for the week to begin, parents unselfishly volunteer their time and support, and community partners support our school on many levels. Our non-profit parent organization, (Friends of Wilbur) has contributed to our beautiful school with outdoor learning classrooms/landscape gardens, murals, grassy play areas, and a top of the line computer lab, with brand new touch screen computers. In addition, each classroom is equipped with an Interactive White Board, our yard has play structures that keep our children fit, our children use anWe have performed Annie, Young America Sings, School House Rocks, Evolution of Rock and Broadway Magic at the theater located at California State University, Northridge. This collaboration and financial support from our neighborhood has brought back many of the students from the surrounding community and local private schools. We believe when parents and community become collaborative partners in their children’s education, the results will speak for themselves. Wilbur encourages visitors to experience a firsthand look at our fabulous school and we look forward to sharing our successes with all stakeholders. We at Wilbur Charter for Enriched Academics are lucky enough to have two great parents who wrote a wonderful, energetic song that we sing at all events.
